How To Avail of Services
North Tipperary Hospice Movement fund and manage two cancer support centres, Suaimhneas in Nenagh and Suir Haven in Thurles.
Both centres are community based where everyone is welcome whether one is living with cancer or affected by it including family, carers, children and friends.
All of the cancer support services are provided free of charge. Both facilities are ‘drop in centres’, which means that anybody who wishes to avail of the service can call in without referral from a GP. In a non-clinical setting, the centres offer emotional support, practical help and information in a safe, positive and confidential environment.
