Betty,
Cancer Client
Over four years ago I got my cancer diagnosis. It entailed major surgery, followed by six months of chemotherapy. My first port of call was Suaimhneas. On that day I had no idea the major part the staff and volunteers would play in my journey to recovery. The professionalism shown in the most loving caring way was balm for my battered body's and soul. Knowing I was not alone in what was to be a life changing situation made such a difference. I let the oncologists take care of the cancer, while I took care of myself with the help and support of Suaimhneas. I would say to anyone reading this. If you are a cancer client or a carer of someone coping with a cancer diagnosis, make an appointment. Go see Ann, and take the first step in moving towards that little Oasis at 2 Clonaslee, Nenagh. It can and will make such a difference. An eternally grateful client.

The cost of running these services costs over €400’000 annually. This is a quite a high expenditure and underlines the necessity for continued fundraising.
